With all the changes I've been making to the portal, I've decided to do some maintenance to the Integer University website as well. The changes are nothing major but some pages should load faster and the cool flash animation is on all the pages.
The most significant change is the ability to upload huge files to the "Documents" section. This should make Lana happy as she usually has to send me the larger files and wait for me to get them posted.

OK after going through online proofing with a fine-tooth comb, I've found quite a few enhancements that needed to be made. That, along with the new commenting system, warrants a whole new version! WOO HOO! So here over the next few weeks, we'll be rolling out Online Proofing v3.0! Hold your applause until you see it but I think most people will be very happy.
Also, I have seen the beginnings of Keye's commenting system and it's pretty freaking cool. Anyway, that's about it for this announcement. Stay tuned for more!
Well, it looks like Keye and I are making yet another round of changes to the Online Proofing System. I think I've put more hours into that job than everything else combined. :D
Anywho, we're going to try revamping the commenting system completely, allowing people to zoom around the element and draw on it just like you would in Photoshop or something. This should alleviate some of the time it takes to post some of the smaller comments. Additionally, the look and feel of the navigation will change a bit because it seems a little childish at this point. And finally, you'll be able to upload huge files. Hopefully you won't do it all the time, but the ability will be there.
As far as timing goes, all of the changes except the commenting system are finished and awaiting testing/deployment. The commenting revision, however, will take longer; probably a couple months. BUT, if all goes as planned, it should be well worth it!
